KEW GARDENS Wall Mural

A digitally remastered version of the 1920’s block print. Kew Gardens was originally hand block printed using 134 blocks. The features include The Palm House, Greek Temple, The Lake and the famous Pagoda. The original block printed wallpaper can be seen hanging in the Stephen Coutauld Suite in Eltham Palace, London.

HYDE PARK Wall Mural Series

This series has been digitally remastered from Hand Block Printed wallpapers originally produced circa 1904. The Hyde Park design is a series of four friezes, set in the 19th century and attributed to H Watkins Wild, who designed several murals for Sanderson. The scene is believed to have been created for hanging above dado in a nursery.
The original production was seen as a marvellous achievement of English block printing.
